“Rooted in decades of serious research, this book was a frighteningly accurate predictor of the 2008 crash. It explains the ‘big picture’ of how economic conditions ebb and flow over time, how to profit from them and how to avoid getting caught in the inevitable squeezes that wipe out the unwary (i.e. 99% of the world).”
— Ken McCarthy, The Independence Day Blueprint
“Prechter can take credit as the godfather of the modern deflation theory.”
— Kirk Washington, Benchmark Magazine
“This book outlines brilliantly and simply the rationale for how and why the bubble developed. Prechter will go down in history as a legend for having predicted the secular bull market and now having provided a lucid description of the economic cataclysm that unfortunately lies ahead. I urge you to read this book and give it to your loved ones. It provides great tactical advice on how to prepare yourself financially. Reading this book could make the difference between agony and comfort over the next 20 years.”
— David Tice, President, Prudent Bear Funds

Everyone should read this book
“Prechter does an excellent job in taking a very complicated subject (economics) down to a layman’s level in how it works and where we’re headed. I’m impressed with its simple yet powerful insight and message. A must read for anyone committed to protecting their wealth and their families in a financial crisis.”
— C. Prejean

“This book is packed full of useful information, written in language that you don’t have to be a financial analyst to understand. It is aimed at the ordinary person.
The book explains when and how deflation and depression are likely to occur. The book’s thesis is that we are approaching one of those times. The first half of the book is dedicated to WHY deflation and depression are likely to occur soon, while the second half of the book tells you very specifically what you can do about it.
I do HIGHLY recommend this book, as it gives you a lot of meat to think about, as he really backs up what he is saying.”

This book is a must read
“IMO, this book is a must read in understanding where our economy is and where it is headed in the near future. Prechter’s argument for deflation is compelling. The book is well thought out and offers an excellent basic education of how money is made, what the central bank does and a history of market cycles. Personally, I am very grateful for the advice of Robert Prechter.”

How will you survive the next depression?
“This book is well written. It can be quite technical and I’m not well versed in stock market technicals. He explains the theory very well and quite frankly scares the cr*p out of you with the potential financial disaster coming. If you believe like me that this stock market and financial system seems to be floating on air and think that the media tries to give only good information only, hiding from all of us the real data that will lead to disaster, then this book is for you. There is real information in here to help you secure the money you have now and hold onto it through a depression.
You don’t have to believe it but I still recommend you read it, it can’t hurt to read it may only hurt to not act.”

This book is the single most important book I have bought this year.
“Prechter is a real world expert with a substantial and continuing body of work to his name. The information in this book is practical and ‘doable’ and will enable anyone to protect their family from the coming major Depression, which will devastate all economies.
To be forewarned of this imminent event and given real solutions that you can put in place now is a gift worthy of a superior intellect like his.
Conquer the Crash is worth 20 times its price and its contents is invaluable.”

Prechter is a Giant!
“This man is a technician in the purest sense of the word. Everything he writes is backed up by data and charts. Elliott Wave theory is a must for all technicians. It will make whatever method you use to trade or analyze the markets better. This book is a view of how deflation and inflation manifest itself on markets and that no matter what its deflation that finally sets things right again. And he uses the EW Theory and sentiment indicators to prove his point.”

Read This Book While There’s Still time!
“Get a copy of Conquer the Crash immediately. Then read it, and put the strategies it suggests into action. If Bob Prechter’s forecasts somehow turn out to be wrong, you won’t really be any worse off–in fact, you’ll wind up with a more solid grasp on your own financial future. But if he turns out to be right, you’ll not only be able to make it through the coming depression–you’ll also be able to reap some very big rewards as we hit bottom in a time of unprecedented opportunity.”

wish I read this book sooner
“This book is a must read. I picked it up 10 days ago and could not put it down until I finished it.
I have already modified my investment behavior on the basis of reading this book.
Whether you are a beginner or advanced student of Elliott Wave, or don’t care about the wave at all, there is important and relevant facts about economic growth, market liquidity, stock valuation etc that provide compelling evidence to support Prechter’s conclusions. Understanding and anticipating what is likely to be the ultimate outcome of this difficult market environment is critical to any individual’s personal economic survival. In summary this is a must read book that once you are finished you will be very grateful to the author for his insights and recommended course of action.”

Shows you how to profit from the upcoming depression.
“Readers are shown how to prepare, and even prosper as a deflationary scenario unfolds. While most will be crushed by the weight of their own mortgage and credit card debt, readers of this book can take advantage of a once in a lifetime investment opportunity.
Prechter identifies the many ways for readers to profit off a continuing stock market decline. Whether you trade stocks, bonds, commodities, or options you will find valuable advice in this book. It will have a permanent spot on my own bookshelf. Prechter’s advice will surely be used in my own trading.

Great Debt of Gratitude for Robert Prechter
“I have followed the advice of Robert Prechter for decades and long ago discovered that he is always very early in his predictions but hardly ever wrong. He kept me from losing any money in all these years for which I owe him a great debt. I was able to retire early and feel safe as possible in, currently, short-term Treasuries. Paper profits don’t mean a thing unless you can actually gain in real terms. The secret is to not lose any of your capital and to stay far away from the herd mentality.”

This book will cause you no financial harm if followed
“The book is divided into two sections: Why a “Deflationary Depression” is going to happen, and the second part of the book covering how to profit and protect yourself when it does. At the very least this book is an educational exercise as to what to do if a “Deflationary Depression” or bear market occurs.”

Ahead of it’s time & packed with good advice
“What I liked about it was how clearly it explained how the economy, banking system and money really works.
The book is divided into two parts. The first part makes the case for the economic depression and stock market crash while the second part details the steps you can take to prepare yourself and your finances. I especially liked his advice on finding a stock bank and on resources to use to stay current on the true financial situation and not to rely on the false information coming from the mainstream financial press.
Everyone should read this book because the information contained in it is vital.”
