Across Elliott Wave International’s 13 subscription services, our analysts publish more than 12,500 charts, 300 videos and 100 pages of market analysis and forecasts every month—covering stocks, commodities, currencies, precious metals, energy, cryptocurrencies, interest rates and more.
With that much analysis being published, it’s impossible to highlight every noteworthy opportunity. Every so often, a subscriber takes the time to share one that stood out.
Recently, one Commodity Pro Service subscriber reached out to share an example of an Elliott wave set-up identified by senior analyst Jim Martens:
Good morning,
I wanted to point out a spectacular low risk opportunity I was alerted to in the Pro Services Commodity Service by Jim Martens.
Below is a chart of October Sugar, with a description and set up of the highlighted opportunity.
Jim has been bullish on sugar through his price counts. He isolated a low risk buying opportunity July 30 in his closing comment video. The opportunity was to position against a key price level of 14.37. The market closed that day at 14.43 (6 ticks away from14.37 or $67.20 of risk). The low the next day on 7/31 was 14.38. From there prices never looked back. Jim had been on the look out for a wave three type of move ahead – and he caught it!

I wanted to bring this to you and/or management’s attention on how perfect a trade set up this was…low risk in the direction of the primary trend. The epitome of taking full advantage of the Elliott wave price count. You can get the wording and analysis of this set up on the 7/30 closing comment video.
It doesn’t get much better than this! Excellent work!
Keep up the good work.
Best,
JTI
