SARS. Swine Flu. Covid-19. All 3 Were a Screaming “Buy!”

by Mark Galasiewski
Updated: December 10, 2020

SARS. Swine Flu. Covid-19. What do all three outbreaks have in common?

They all occurred near the END of major declines in emerging markets, as reflected by the MSCI Emerging Markets Index.

But how can that be? Aren't epidemics "bad news"? And aren't the markets supposed to FALL on bad news, not RISE?

If you want to succeed in investing or trading, you have to forget this widely-accepted fallacy. Market's aren't logical. They are emotional.

And no other forecasting method helps you see and forecast the market's emotion like Elliott waves.

Hey everyone, Mark Galasiewski here. Let me take a moment to update you on the relationship between COVID-19 and emerging market stocks. Earlier this year, our publications showed that infectious disease epidemics tend to occur toward the end of bear markets. We cited such examples as SARS, Swine Flu, and COVID-19, which spread toward the end of major declines in the MSEI Emerging Markets Index. Our publications also use that knowledge to support a bullish outlook following the March 2020 lows. For example, Global Market Perspective and Asian Pacific Financial Forecast said that quote, "epidemics tend to occur toward the end of bear markets. Asian Pacific and emerging market stocks should now embark on a bull market amid the COVID-19 pandemic." And that forecast has proven spot on as the MSEI Emerging Markets Index has sensors in 50%. The question now of course is whether the bull market is near its end or whether it will continue. You'll find the answers to that question written as clearly as our April, 2020 forecast was in the December, 2020 issues of our publications.

Will you panic and sell during the next pandemic?

We hope, not.

Now that you know that disease outbreaks occur near the end of bear markets, not at the start of them, next time you'll be ready -- to buy, that is.

That's the power of Elliott wave insights. Just imagine yourself as one of Mark Galasiewski's subscribers back in April, when he went on TV and made a strong bullish case.

In April, Mark's bullish forecast sounded like heresy. But look at stocks today.
