Announcing FreePass for a Changed World

The Financial World Has Changed

IT’S A WHOLE DIFFERENT WORLD

From mid-2020 to early 2022, the financial world was benign:

  • Interest rates were near zero,
  • the stock market had been going up for years,
  • the weakest corporations could borrow at virtually no cost,
  • housing was less unaffordable,
  • every new investment idea worked,
  • and the inflation rate was less than 2%.

Today,

  • Interest rates are 5% for even the safest debt,
  • the stock market is languishing,
  • junk bonds are becoming harder to finance,
  • the affordability of housing is at a record low,
  • investment darlings are failing,
  • and the annual inflation rate has been hovering around 7%.

And that’s just the start!

It’s not too late.

At the 2022 Conference, Prechter revisited his presentation to show just how much the world has changed.

Peter Kendall Chief Analyst for U.S. Markets and Cultural Trends

Peter Kendall has been a market analyst and editor at Elliott Wave International since 1992. In 1996, he edited Prechter’s Perspective, a series of interviews drawn from Robert Prechter’s media commentary. In addition to charting the course of the financial markets, he places the markets within the larger context of big-picture Elliott wave trends in social mood. From the heights of skyscrapers and hemlines to the depths of disco and punk rock, Peter’s insights show EWI’s subscribers why these trends are part and parcel of patterned and predictable Elliott waves. Robert R. Prechter Founder and President, Elliott Wave International

Elliott’s fractal model of financial pricing. Prechter shares his market insights in The Elliott Wave Theorist, one of the longest-running financial publications in existence today. Prechter has developed a theory of social causality called socionomics, whose main hypothesis is endogenously regulated waves of social mood prompt social actions.
