Dear Reader,
While they might not be the largest markets in the world, energy futures have been one of the most exciting during the past several years.
I'm Steven Craig, EWI's chief energy analyst and editor of Energy Specialty Service since 2001.
I have been involved with oil futures since the mid-1980s and the natural gas market from its inception in 1990.
I cut my teeth at Merrill Lynch, where I was first exposed to the Elliott Wave Principle. Bob Prechter's masterful stock market forecasts in the 1980s were all the inspiration I needed to make the leap from an Elliott wave student to an ardent practitioner.
Prior to joining EWI in 2001, I held risk management positions at Central & South West and Kerr-McGee, two of the largest energy firms in the United States. I'm intimately familiar with the physical and financial aspects of energy trading, and this hands-on experience adds a valuable dimension to my analysis.
In my Energy Specialty Service, you will find up-to-the-hour forecasts for oil and natural gas and a concise, honest assessment of these markets' directions at multiple degrees of trend.
Regardless of your time horizon, if you're involved with any aspect of energy trading - cash, futures, swaps, options, stocks or ETFs - I believe you will find my insights a valuable addition to your decision-making process.
Read below to learn more about my service.
Best,

Steve Craig
