Do We Recommend Any Elliott Wave Software?

Investors often ask us about Elliott wave software. Typically they hope to delegate the hard work of analysis to a computer process. Yet our concern is, people who do not perform their own analysis will be inequipped to recognize when the software has provided an inferior or misleading result. In turn, inferior or misleading result leads to failed trades.

None of the currently available Elliott wave software is foolproof. Users with whom we've talked have been disturbed by the frequency and extent with which wave counts have been relabeled.

We use our analysts' brain power to generate the wave counts for our publications. We feel that none of the wave-counting software packages on the market today are consistently reliable. For that reason, we continue to work full-time on the development of our proprietary EWAVES (Elliott Wave Analysis and Validation Expert System) application.
