U.S. Dollar Wins Huge, Euro Gets Slaughtered
The euro is almost 600 pips lower against the dollar -- and counting

By Vadim Pokhlebkin
5/15/2012 9:15:00 PM

Today, EUR/USD, the exchange rate between the euro and U.S. dollar -- and also the world's most-traded forex market -- fell to near $1.27, a low not seen since January. For many forex traders, the answer would be...

By Vadim Pokhlebkin
5/10/2012 3:30:00 PM

Quick story. Back in 1998-1999, when a gallon of regular at a local QT gas station cost 67 cents (I kid you not), a colleague of mine here at the office was talking to an old buddy, who told him this: "When a barrel of oil costs less than a 12-pack of beer, you know it's time to buy." Boy, do I wish I had listened.

A Story About Overcoming the Odds
Winning in the markets is hard enough. Imagine if you had to also overcome THIS

By Vadim Pokhlebkin
2/23/2012 6:30:00 PM

A rare opportunity came my way this past December: My company, Elliott Wave International, sent me to Orlando to attend Peter Brandt's Traders' Boot Camp. I say "rare opportunity" because, well, how often do you get to come to a training event for serious market speculators? Of the 20 traders at that Boot Camp, I'd say 7 or 8 had a $1 million-plus trading account. One had been written about in a Forbes article. There was a lot of success in that room. Why, then, you may wonder, did those traders pay good money to spend 2.5 days with Peter Brandt, the instructor?
